“In founding Narratives, two things were of the utmost importance to me: serving the young adults of the Quad Cities, one of the most underserved populations, and creating a healthy organization for the future Narratives staff. In private practice, I saw too many individuals seeking counseling because of their struggles with toxic work environments. Meeting regularly with Ron Wastyn has been the best decision in helping me ensure Narratives is built on a great foundation. As nonprofits, we can’t serve our community well if behind the scenes our organizations are not healthy. Healthy organizations allow for greater growth and greater community impact.
