About Us

Wastyn & Associates becomes an extension of your current staff, taking on the time consuming tasks of strategy development, prospect identification, writing and sending appeals, and grant writing so you can focus on service delivery.

We also train your staff and volunteers with classes in grant writing, board development, and other topics of interest and importance for today’s nonprofits.

Most fundraising consulting firms create more work for staff by giving them knowledge and ideas followed by assignments that staff then carry out after the consultant leaves. While that is appropriate in certain circumstances, during times of lean operations, increasingly scarce resources, and mounting client needs, the additional time an organization needs to invest to move the fundraising operation to the next level is often one of its first casualties.

 Contracting these services out to an experienced firm on an as-needed basis is often the most financially viable option that allows you to keep your budget lean and realize your goals.
